Koke has stated his Atletico Madrid teammate Antoine Griezmann is ‘free to leave’ the club but believes he doesn’t want to.
The French forward has been linked with a move away from Atleti with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United all reportedly holding an interest.
“Griezmann had the chance to leave after last season but he didn’t,” Koke is quoted as saying by Diario AS.
“I think that shows he likes the club and wants to stay but of course if there is anyone who doesn’t like it here they are free to leave as the club only want committed players.
“If players aren’t committed all they need to do is ask for a transfer because the only people who should be at the club are those who have their entire focus on it.
“I believe Griezmann is committed. Maybe in the last month we haven’t been good but we are improving as a team.”
