Tensions are growing at Real Madrid with the relationship strained by Sergio Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports in Spain.
The two have been exchanging public comments which are directly at odds with each other, with reports in Marca and Diario AS stating the two were directly irking each other.
Fresh reports in El Chiringuito and AS earlier this week stated the Portuguese star was unhappy with his situation at the Bernabeu and considering leaving the club this summer.
“Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I struggle to keep up with the entire situation,” Ramos told reporters after Spain’s 3-3 draw with Russia on Tuesday.
Ronaldo said the club ‘missed the experience’ of Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez and Pepe – who were all sold this summer – while club captain Ramos rejected these claims.
