Barcelona have reached an ‘agreement in principle’ for Atletico Madrid attacking star Antoine Griezmann, according to reports.
The front page of Wednesday’s El Mundo Deportivo reported on the arrangement, which would see the Frenchman join the Camp Nou next summer in a reported €100m deal.
The 26-year-old signed a new contract with Atleti this summer but this was not an extension and saw his release clause doubled temporarily to €200m to ward off suitors.
French outlet Le 10 also reported that the former Real Sociedad player would be on the move to Barca at the end of the season, following a summer in which he was heavily linked to Manchester United.
