Schalke will move for Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa when Leon Goretzka leaves the club, say reports in Spain.
Germany international Goretzka’s contract at the Bundesliga side expires in June 2018 while rumours suggest Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich may table a cut-price offer in January.
Now, El Desmarque and El Mundo Deportivo report Schalke have bookmarked Camarasa as their preferred replacement for central midfield.
23-year-old Camarasa only joined Los Verdiblancos in an €8m deal from Levante in summer and is contracted at the club until 2021, seemingly making any early departure unlikely.
