Barca keep tabs on Nabil Fekir

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir and could sign him if they fail to land Philippe Coutinho, according to reports in Spain.

The 24-year-old made headlines last weekend after a perceived aggravating celebration when scoring in Lyon’s 5-0 victory at Saint-Etienne.

A report in Marca suggest Barca have been tracking the French international ‘for a number of months’ and report Barca’s sporting director Robert Fernandez scouted him while watching his side’s 3-0 win over Everton.

Fekir has been in sensational form this campaign netting 11 Ligue 1 goals in 11 appearances and reportedly turning heads across Europe.

The Blaugrana already have the midfielder’s international teammates Lucas Digne, Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti on their books and believe this may be persuasive in a later transfer.
