Barca had Mbappe agremeent – report

Barcelona reached a deadline day agreement to sign Kylian Mbappe before his move to Paris Saint-Germain was processed, say reports.

The teenage forward joined the Parisians from French champions Monaco at the end of the summer transfer window but L’Equipe report a deal was not always likely due to PSG’s financial situation.

The move was processed after Monaco were persuaded to sanction a season-long loan deal with a reported €170m permanent deal to be concluded next summer.

On September 1st, UEFA declared they would be launching an investigation into PSG and the report states Barca moved swiftly to agree a ‘substantial fee’ for the teenager.

Mbappe’s desire was to join boyhood club PSG and whilst a deal was eventually reached, Monaco had been willing to let him join the Camp Nou – with Arda Turan moving in the opposite direction, which also collapsed.
