Athletic Bilbao central defender Unai Nunez has signed a new contract at the club until June 2023, it has been confirmed.
The 20-year-old only made his debut for the Basque giants this season but has started all ten La Liga matches for the club so far.
The promising defender, who has been at the club since he was a seven-year-old, has penned a new deal which Marca report to have a €30m release clause attached.
Having excelled last season under Coach Jose Angel Ziganda with Bilbao Athletic, he has played every minute in the league so far and has been called up to the Spain Under-21 squad.
