Getafe will be looking for their first home win of the season on Sunday, when they host a Real Sociedad side plagued by inconsistency.
Getafe boss Jose Bordalas on the importance of playing La Real: “It’s very important and we’ve talked about it.
“I think we’re all aware of this. It’s not a decisive and definitive game, but we want to start winning again or do well to draw like we did at Levante.
“We didn’t win at home until the game against Villarreal, and La Real are another European team, so it’ll be complicated against them.”
La Real boss Eusebio Sacristan on his side facing Getafe loanee Markel: “I see him very well.
“It makes sense that a player is eligible for every game. Loaning a player to another team doesn’t have to be an obstacle.
“It wouldn’t make sense if they couldn’t play against their parent clubs. It’s a bonus for them.
“I’m very happy that Markel’s doing so well, with so much involvement, because he’s a great player and a great person.”
