Sevilla Coach Eduardo Berizzo praised his side’s ‘dynamic’ in their 3-0 Copa Del Rey win at Cartagena on Tuesday night.
Goals from Pablo Sarabia, Joaquin Correa and Luis Muriel set Los Rojiblancos on course for a comfortable first leg win over the Segunda B side.
“We needed to change our dynamic and we’ve done that,” Berizzo told the club’s official website.
“Now our confidence has increased and the team is moving in the right direction again, and we’ll take the momentum into Saturday’s La Liga clash.
“We treated our opponent with the appropriate seriousness and respect and we were consistent to have scored three goals and create even more.
“Each player on the pitch made an impact and we had variation in attack and were solid in defence, so I must be happy.
“The objective now is to carry this form into La Liga as we must improve and climb the table, we must show we are a team and a club with a high standard.”
