Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has not thought about a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The Spanish and European champions have been linked with a future move for the in-form England international but the club have played this down.
“Has a move entered my mind? Honestly, it hasn't” Perez told Cadena Cope.
“He is a magnificent player, he is young and has many years to progress. But we are delighted not just with Benzema, but with all the players that we have.
“Had I asked him (Tottenham’s Daniel Levy) for a price on Kane, the response would have been €250m. This is because they always go for the very most in a price, every time. We know this because of what it took for us to sign Luka Modric and Gareth Bale.
“Every time we win a major title, Levy always sends me the same message: ‘Congratulations on this title you have won with my players.’
“Benzema is phenomenal, like a mix between Zinedine Zidane – whom he shares a first-touch with – and Ronaldo Nazario in terms of goals, he is a luxury for us.”
