Cristiano Ronaldo is ‘relaxed and calm’ regarding his taxes as he is only worried about his football career, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has said.
The Portuguese star has maintained his innocence of any wrongdoing after appearing in court in July charged with avoiding €14.7m of income tax during his time at the Bernabeu.
“Ronaldo is relaxed and calm as he is a person with just one fixation – his job,” Perez told El Espanol.
“He has a clear conscience on everything else as he has not hidden anything, nor has he done anything wrong.
“Then he dedicates his body and soul to keep winning Ballon d'Or titles and The Best prizes, as I believe he will win the next two.”
