Former Barcelona midfielder Fabio Rochemback has been arrested after an alleged cockfighting ring was busted in his native Brazil.
The 35-year-old, who spent four seasons at the Camp Nou between 2001 and 2005, was one of 57 arrested following the raid at a farm in Rio Grande do Sul state, according to Globo.
Cockfighting is banned in Brazil and the report states 89 roosters and £75k were also seized by authorities at the early-morning raid.
Rochemback retired from playing football three years ago and won seven caps for Brazil alongside making 45 La Liga appearances for the Blaugrana.
His career also included spells Sport Club Internacional and Sporting CP, before he joined Middlesbrough in August 2005.
