Barca-Las Palmas called off?

Barcelona’s match against Las Palmas on Sunday has been postponed due to the Catalan referendum, according to reports.

Various newspapers in Spain suggest the Security Council of Catalonia has failed to give assurances that the game is safe to go ahead.

However, there have been conflicting claims that the postponement is unilateral on Barca's part, while the police, Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and La Liga believe the match can take place.

There is still no official confirmation on whether the game will go ahead, with just under an hour until kick-off.

Members of the Press have been allowed entry into Camp Nou, but fans remain stuck outside the turnstiles.

The Catalan Football Federation, meanwhile, has called off all its clubs’ games this afternoon.

This does not affect Barca, given they are under the RFEF's jurisdiction.
