Line-ups: Girona-Barca

Barcelona seemingly line up in a 4-4-2 formation for tonight's first-ever Catalan derby against Girona in La Liga.

The absences of Rafinha, Ousmane Dembele and Gerard Deulofeu have left Barca without a recognised right winger.

Consequently, Ernesto Valverde has switched to a four-man midfield, with Sergi Roberto and Andres Iniesta flanking Ivan Rakitic and Paulinho.

Up top, Lionel Messi – fresh from scoring four goals against Eibar – should play just off Luis Suarez, who returns after being benched midweek.

Girona, meanwhile, start with three Manchester City loanees in Pablo Maffeo, Aleix Garcia and Douglas Luiz.

However, they have not won any of their last three games – in stark contrast to the Blaugrana, who are top after five straight victories.
