Cristiano Ronaldo starts his first La Liga game of the season for Real Madrid against Real Betis tonight.

Ronaldo has completed his five-match ban to take his place back up top alongside Gareth Bale, with Isco playing behind the pair in a 4-3-1-2 formation.

Elsewhere, Marcelo returns at left-back, as does Toni Kroos in central midfield, but Borja Mayoral drops to the bench, despite his goal at Real Sociedad over the weekend.

Interestingly, all of Los Blancos' substitutes are Spaniards, five of whom graduated through their youth academy, among them ex-Betis midfielder Dani Ceballos.

You would have to go all the way back to 1998 for the last time the Andalusians won at the Santiago Bernabeu, courtesy of a 1-0 victory.
