Malaga Coach Michel believes his side must ‘maintain calmness and focus’ despite losing their opening four La Liga fixtures.
The Andalucians are yet to pick up a point and travel to the Mestalla on Tuesday night to take on an unbeaten Valencia side.
“The team needs to have freedom and not worry,” Michel told an interview with Marca.
“This is a similar situation as the one when I arrived five months ago – we were having a difficult time but managed to turn it around.
“When you have no points the pressure intensifies on everyone and you start thinking about things more but all we can do is focus on our next game to rectify the situation.
“We must maintain our calmness and focus – we’ve lost four games but we could have gotten something from every one of those games.
“Valencia are clearly in good form and have made a strong start to the season but this league is very tight and we expect the match to be even, so we must take our chances and maintain concentration.”
