Zinedine Zidane believes Cristiano Ronaldo would have scored four goals against APOEL Nicosia had he been in a run of matches.
The Portuguese star netted twice – to take his tally in the competition up to 107, a record – in his side’s 3-0 victory over the Cypriot side.
“Cristiano? He is the best in the world; he is always there for us, always scoring goals," Zidane told his post-match press conference.
“If he had been on form today and in a run of games, he scores four. We know what Cristiano is capable of. We are happy with the second half and with the clean sheet.
“Ramos’s goal? I was not able to do that, few players can! Sergio normally goes with his head, the chilena was a bit strange.”
