Mendes to appear in Ronaldo court case

Jorge Mendes is one of three advisers to Cristiano Ronaldo to appear before a Spanish court as part of the case into alleged tax evasion by the player.

Mendes has been called to give evidence along with two of the Real Madrid player's other advisors, Luis Correia and Carlos Osorio, on October 19.

Judge Monica Gomez Ferrer is hopeful of clarifying the role of the trio in relation to the Portuguese superstar’s alleged €14.7m image rights tax discrepancy, say El Mundo.

The report states the three men are “paid handsomely so he (Ronaldo) does not have problems and this sort of nonsense.”
