Sevilla are still keen to add a further striker to their squad but there have been no further talks for PSV striker Luuk De Jong, say reports in Spain.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Los Rojiblancos sporting director Oscar Arias spoke to the player’s agent and officials of the Eindhoven club last week, but there has been no advancements since.
The 27-year-old striker is said to have fitted the profile for the club, who want a front-man to hold up play and become an aerial presence with the delivery of Jesus Navas.
With this in mind, the Andalucians have also been linked with moves for Watford striker Stefano Okaka and Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.
De Jong has netted 68 goals for the Dutch side since joining in 2014.
