Celta Vigo midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop is set to join Ligue 1 club Lyon in a deal worth an initial €15m deal, say reports.
The Spain Under-19 international had been the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur who had tabled a €9m (£8m) bid, although the French club are now said to have swooped for his signature.
According to Diario AS and The Daily Mail, the Senegalese-born midfielder is set to arrive in the French city on Monday to complete his medical ahead of the move, with reports suggesting a further €10m in add-ons are attached to the deal.
20-year-old Diop joined Celta Vigo aged 14 and made 16 league appearances for the club last season, scoring once.
