Valencia set for multiple exits

Valencia are braced for a series of player departures before the transfer window closes with eight player’s futures uncertain, say reports.

According to Plaza Deportiva, up to eight players could leave the club this summer: Ezequiel Garay, Aymen Abdennour, Fabian Orellana, Nando Garcia, Luis Nani, Vinicius Araujo, Santi Mina and Robert Ibanez.

Los Che are keen to significantly trim their squad after three arrivals in the past week – Gabriel Paulista from Arsenal along with Inter duo Jeison Murillo and Geoffrey Kondogba – with a fourth, Goncalo Guedes, set to arrive from Paris Saint-Germain.

There is Russian interest in defensive duo Garay (Spartak Moscow) and Abdennour (Zenit Saint Petersburg) while Orellana has been linked with a return to Celta Vigo despite leaving the club earlier this year.

While no specific suitors are listed for the remaining five players, none are said to be in Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral’s plans.

A ninth player’s future is also in doubt – Ruben Vezo spent last season on loan at Granada and is said to have no future at the Mestalla.
