Levante have signed Torino midfielder and Serbian international Sasa Lukic on a season-long loan deal, it has been confirmed.
Lukic joined the Serie A club from Partizan Belgrade a year ago in a €1.7m but made only 15 domestic appearances in a tough season.
The Italian’s side Director of sport Gianluca Petrachi had reportedly wanted written guarantees that the Serb will gain regular playing time for the Valencia-based side.
Newly promoted Levante have already signed attacking duo Ivi Lopez and Alex Alegria (loan) from Sevilla Atletico and Real Betis respectively, while bringing in Antonio Luna from Eibar and renewing Robert Pier’s loan from Deportivo La Coruna.
