Barcelona will reportedly pursue Inter winger Ivan Perisic if they fail to land Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele.
According to Sportitalia, Barca’s riches from selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for €222m makes meeting Inter’s asking price of €55m for Perisic a possibility.
The Croatian had been heavily linked with Manchester United, but a fee could not be agreed and attentions turned towards the Nerazzurri tying him down to a new contract.
However, the Catalans have made progress for Dembele, who was suspended by Borussia Dortmund after he missed training on Thursday.
Coutinho, meanwhile, handed in an official transfer request on Friday, although Liverpool remain adamant that the Brazilian will not be sold.
Perisic, 28, scored 11 goals and assisted 12 for Inter last season, primarily from the left wing.
