Isco signs new Madrid deal – report

Isco has signed a new contract at Real Madrid which contains a €700m release clause, according to reports in Spain.

Diario AS state they have been reliably informed by contacts at the Bernabeu that the former Malaga star is set to pen the four-year contract.

The 25-year-old’s current deal was set to expire in June 2018 but he recently confirmed a new deal was expected soon to commit his long-term future to Los Blancos.

“We're very close and it will be done soon,” Isco told reporters after the European Super Cup final in regards to his new contract.

Despite struggling to cement his place in the starting line-up over the years since joining the club in 2013, Isco has amassed 192 appearances since his 2013 arrival.
