Rodrigo Caio key in Garay future

Juventus are considering turning their attention to Sao Paulo's Rodrigo Caio due to frustrations in negotiations with Valencia for Ezequiel Garay, say reports.

Valencia-based Plaza Deportiva report negotiations over the Argentine Garay has slowed with Los Che unwilling to budge from their €25m asking price.

The Bianconeri may now look to Caio, who has been capped three times by Brazil, who is thought to be available at a more affordable €16m.

The 24-year-old had been poised to move to the Mestalla last summer in a €12m deal but he failed two medicals and the move eventually collapsed, before the club moved for Garay from Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Juve have joined a quartet of Italian rivals – Inter, Milan, Roma and Lazio – in their interest for the Brazilian, in a deal which may ensure Garay stays in La Liga.
