Newly-promoted Getafe are hopeful of signing highly-rated Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti on a season-long loan deal, say reports in Spain.
According to Diario AS, Los Azulones have made the 18-year-old their prime striking option having been unsuccessful in attempts to loan Real Madrid’s Borja Mayoral and Atletico Madrid’s Amath N’Diaye.
“Great players have spent time at Getafe and have left considerably stronger due to their time at the Coliseum,” the club’s sporting director Ramon Planes is quoted as saying.
“We hope this history helps to persuade other players to take the same step.”
Pinamonti, who has featured in the first-team at the San Siro in each of the past two seasons, recently extended his deal with the Milanese giants until 2021 in a reported bid to ward off interest from others.
