Setien not worried by Betis form

Real Betis Coach Quique Setien is pleased with his side's progress despite their lack of goals and wins in pre-season.

The Andalusian team earned a 1-1 draw with Turkish champions Besiktas in their most recent friendly yesterday, their third consecutive result by that scoreline.

"Generally we are very good with the ball and also practically without the ball too," Setien said post-match.

"Now, we've seen it against a Champions League opponent who put out their best team. It is a sign that the team is working very well defensively."

Betis have now won just once in seven pre-season matches but Setien is unconcerned by results.

"Winning is always better than drawing and losing. But right now results are totally anecdotal.

"There are things that concern me more."

The Blanquiverdes tactician is also convinced that foward Sergio Roberto, who returned to the club from Osasuna this summer, will soon start scoring goals.

"Whenever you are not scoring much it will always be picked up on, but this happens to all teams. I am happy with what Sergio did."
