Valencia and Juve set for swap deal

Juventus have stepped up their attempts to sign Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo and have offered €17m along with midfielder Mario Lemina, say reports.

According to reports in both Spain and Italy, the two clubs are hopeful of using their strong working relationship to strengthen their respective squads.

The Bianconeri have recently sold Simone Zaza and Norberto Neto to Los Che with both Marca and Cadena Ser state these relations have speeded up the potential swap deal.

Portuguese full-back Cancelo is valued at €25m but the Italian champions inclusion of the Gabonese midfielder is thought to suit both clubs.

Former Olympique Marseille midfielder Lemina joined Juve two years ago but has only started 15 Serie A matches in two years and is reportedly keen on more first-team football.

Cancelo, who has scored three goals in four Portugal appearances, could replace Dani Alves at the J-Stadium next season.
