Getafe have completed a loan deal with Atletico Madrid for defender Emiliano Velazquez which includes an option to purchase.
The Uruguayan previously spent two seasons on loan at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez between 2014 and 2016 before a year-long stint at Portuguese side Braga last season.
Marca report the 23-year-old as stating ‘I’m going home’ upon completion of the deal as he becomes the latest reinforcement for the newly-promoted side.
Capped once by Uruguay, Velazquez’s move to Getafe will reportedly become permanent should they avoid relegation this campaign.
