La Liga 123 side Cordoba have completed a deal for Serbian goalkeeper Igor Stefanovic from Portuguese side Moreirense.
The former Serbia Under-21 goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract at the Estadio Nuevo Arcangel and will provide competition to Polish shot-stopper Pawel Kieszek.
The 30-year-old will start the season in nets due to a recent injury sustained by former Estoril goalkeeper Kieszek and Marc Vito’s departure to Extremadura on loan.
Stefanovic will be the second Serbian at the Andalucian club, joining midfielder Sasa Markovic, and helped Moreirense to a shock Taca da Liga trophy last season, keeping a clean sheet in the final victory over Braga.
