Valencia approve defensive trio sales

Valencia have decided to sell Ezequiel Garay, Joao Cancelo and Aymen Abdennour this summer to continue their squad overhaul.

Abdennour has reportedly been the subject of bids from Watford and Inter with Los Che keen to sell the Tunisian, who joined from Monaco for €21m in 2015.

The cases of Garay and Cancelo are said to be different, with new Coach Marcelino Garcia Toral identifying them initially as part of his plans this season.

However, interest from Juventus in both defenders has changed the situation with Marcelino and officials at the Mestalla recognising their sales would make economic sense and both are replaceable.

Marca report all three will now join the exodus from the club this summer and as Jorge Mendes represents both players, he could speed up their sales.

In addition, Alvaro Negredo is close to joining Besiktas while Mathew Ryan, Diego Alves and Enzo Perez have already left Valencia this summer.
