Betis want Zozulya exit

Real Betis are keen to offload Ukrainian striker Roman Zozulya but are yet to find any club interested in his signing, say reports in Spain.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the 27-year-old has no future at Los Verdiblancos having made only one start in six appearances across all competitions last season.

Betis vice president Lorenzo Serra Ferrer has already informer the striker’s representatives that he has no future at the club and to allow the former Dynamo Kiev striker to find another club.

Zozulya was at the centre of a transfer storm earlier this year when La Liga 123 outfit Rayo Vallecano agreed a loan deal for him, but fans rejected him due to his alleged political stances.

Having signed the Ukrainian on a free transfer from Dnipro last summer, the Seville-based club would consider releasing him a year early from his contract should no club make an approach.
