FFP concerns for Neymar camp?

Neymar's representatives want reassurances Paris Saint-Germain won't be liable to UEFA financial fair play sanctions if his €222m deal goes through say reports.

According to Diario AS, the Brazilian’s camp want ‘cast-iron guarantees’ that there would be no punishment for the player or club should such a deal be processed.

The report cites Radio Monte Carlo which suggests despite the delay in official announcements, the deal is not far from completion and the move appeals to the player.

It is possible that any FFP regulations could see the club suffer penalties in both domestic and European competition, while both they and the player could be the subject of a hefty fine.

The Brazilian’s concerns are said to be heightened following the acrimonious nature of the deal that took him to the Camp Nou from Santos with a desire for no further controversy.
