Jesus Navas to Sevilla ‘imminent’

Jesus Navas is set to complete his long-awaited return to Sevilla this week as the club try to tie up several signings before Friday, say reports in Spain.

According to Marca, the winger’s return to Los Rojiblancos is ‘imminent’ and will be the first of several deals before the club jet off to London at the end of the week.

Eduardo Berizzo’s side have returned from their pre-season trip to Japan and having already made five signings – Nolito, Luis Muriel, Ever Banega, Guido Pizarro and Sebastien Corchia – they have another three in their sights.

In addition to Navas, the club are keen to add defensive reinforcements in the form of Fenerbahce's Simon Kjaer and Guilherme Arana of Corinthians.

Sevilla are also said to be hopeful of concluding the permanent transfer of Stevan Jovetic from Inter this week following a successful loan move.

Navas left Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan to join Manchester City in 2013 in a €20m deal and is sixth in the club’s list of all-time appearances with 395, only 18 shy of record appearance holder Pablo Blanco.
