Malaga to swoop for N’Diaye?

Malaga are hopeful of completing the signing of Villarreal midfielder Alfred N’Diaye after he was placed on the transfer list.

Estadio Deportivo state the Senegalese midfielder is keen to leave the Yellow Submarine and play top-flight football elsewhere, with Malaga Coach Michel reportedly a fan.

The move could be intensified by Villarreal edging towards completing a deal for Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals, with the former Sunderland and Betis midfielder potentially moving in the other direction.

The former Sunderland midfielder made 13 appearances for Villarreal last season but was signed by Marcelino Garcia Toral and the manager’s replacement Fran Escriba did not see him as part of his plans.

N’Diaye was loaned out to Hull City in January but a permanent move was ruled out following the English club’s relegation.
