Paris Saint-Germain are confident of completing a sensational double swoop ‘in the next few days’ for Neymar and Alexis Sanchez, say reports.
The Guardian carries a report from highly-respected French football writer Julien Laurens which states the moves are inching closer and could cost the Parisians €272m.
It states PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is busy working on concluding Neymar's move to the French capital, while sporting director Antero Henrique reportedly met Sanchez and his agent Friday afternoon.
Both players are thought to be key on moving to the Parc des Princes in what would go down as one of the most sensational double transfers in football history.
PSG believe they can trigger the Brazilian’s €222m release clause at the Camp Nou, leaving the Catalan club unable to stop a deal, in a move which would more than double the world record transfer fee.
The former Santos star could see his salary in Paris reach a staggering €40m per year which will be topped up by additional bonuses.
