Neymar is set to sensationally quit Barcelona and join Paris Saint-Germain as they look set to trigger his €222m release clause, claims a report.
According to hugely-respected Brazilian TV channel Esporte Interativo, the 25-year-old has already agreed terms with the Parisians and the move will be finalised within the coming weeks.
Tuesday’s front pages from the Spanish press were dominated by the rumours surrounding the Brazilian and a remarkable alleged proposal from the Parisians.
"That's not going to happen," Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez responded when asked about the star leaving the club.
"We have not had any offers for any player in our squad and no club will pay the release clause."
There had been increased speculation that such a move could ‘unlock’ Marco Verratti’s move to the Blaugrana.
