Chelsea agree Danilo terms?

Chelsea have reportedly agreed terms with Real Madrid right-back Danilo, who is valued at €30m.

According to Globoesporte, Chelsea switched their attentions to Danilo after they were thwarted in their attempts to sign Juventus’ Alex Sandro.

The Brazilian publication explains the 26-year-old has given the green light to the Blues, who have since accelerated talks with Los Blancos.

Madrid paid €31.5m to take Danilo from Porto in 2015 and are keen to recoup as much of that as possible, hence their €30m asking price.

However, the English champions’ came in at just €20m and face bidding considerably more if they are to shake hands with Los Merengues.

Furthermore, Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane would prefer to keep the player for his “professionalism and camaraderie” in the dressing room.

Danilo made just 25 appearances for Madrid last season as he played second fiddle to Dani Carvajal at right-back.
