Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of left-back Yuri Berchiche from Real Sociedad for a fee reportedly in the region of €15m.
Berchiche, 27, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with PSG and becomes the French giants’ first signing of the summer.
The Basque began his professional career in England with Tottenham Hotspur in 2007 but did not make his breakthrough in top-flight football until seven years later, when David Moyes promoted him to La Real’s first-choice left-back.
He will now compete with Layvin Kurzawa for a place on the left-hand side of PSG’s back four.
