Manchester United are moving ever close to finalising a deal for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, with the clubs just €5m in valuation apart, say reports.
According to Marca, the two clubs have been involved in extensive negotiations for several weeks to conclude a deal for the 24-year-old striker, who wants more playing time.
The report states Los Blancos are demanding €80m for the Spain international, while United’s latest offer is in the region of €75m, with an agreement expected to be reached soon.
In fact, the Madrid media outlet expect a deal to be concluded this week ahead of the Europa League winners departing for their US tour on Sunday.
Zinedine Zidane is also reportedly keen for the deal to be sanctioned soon to speed up the pursuit of other attacking targets for the club such as Dani Ceballos and Kylian Mbappe.
