Barcelona have received and rejected offers of €35m for midfielder Andre Gomes from Juventus and an unnamed English clubs, say reports in Spain.
According to Marca and El Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana knocked back the offers and told the interest parties the Portuguese midfielder – who they joined from Valencia last summer – is ‘non-transferable’.
Ernesto Valverde and the Barca board are both fans of the 23-year-old midfielder, who arrived at the Camp Nou last summer for €35m, plus a further €20m in add-ons.
Earlier this month, Diario AS reported Juve and Manchester United were both interested in the former Benfica midfielder, but more recent reports did not specify which English side had lodged an offer.
