Ever Banega is set to rejoin Sevilla for €9m after the Inter midfielder’s agent revealed the player “will 99 per cent go to Spain” this summer.
On Wednesday, it emerged the 28-year-old midfielder still saw Los Rojiblancos as ‘his home’ after leaving Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan twelve months ago after his contract expired.
“Ever will 99 per cent go to Spain for a sum far inferior to the €13m that is doing the rounds in the media over the last few days,” the Argentine’s agent Marcelo Simonian told Tuttomercatoweb.
“An agreement has been reached.”
The former Valencia midfielder has also been linked with moves to Espanyol and Paris Saint-Germain but it is expected he will rejoin Sevilla imminently.
