Roma are interested in signing Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos as they seek to replace the outgoing Kostas Manolas, say reports.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Uruguayan defender is being monitored by the Italian giants as Manolas is reportedly see to move to Zenit St Petersburg for upwards of €30m.

Roma sporting director Monchi reportedly targeted Lemos for Sevilla last summer but the 21-year-old opted to sign for Los Amarillos, also turning down Barcelona, in order to play more first-team football.

Las Palmas are reportedly seeking the full €30m release clause for the former Rubin Kazan central defender, who is also on Everton’s summer shortlist.
