Jan Oblak believes he will stay at Atletico Madrid beyond this summer despite reported interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Slovenian shot-stopper is reportedly the subject of keen interest of the Parisians but Los Rojiblancos have no intention of selling the former Benfica goalkeeper, who has a contract at the club until June 2021.
“In football you never know, even one day before the market closes news comes out, but for now everything points towards me continuing on at Atletico,” Oblak is quoted by AS as telling the Slovenian website Sportal.
“I am happy at Atletico and I believe that I'll continue playing here next season.”
Oblak has played in all but eight of Atleti’s La Liga outings in the past two seasons with a shoulder injury last campaign his only absence.
