Real Sociedad are set to announce the €8m signing of Real Madrid defender Diego Llorente over the coming days, say reports in Spain.
According to Marca, all the key details of the transfer have been agreed between the player and clubs with Llorente now house-hunting in San Sebastian.
The 23-year-old started 23 times on a loan spell at Malaga last season and his move to La Real will include a buyback option for Los Blancos, as is standard for sales of youth graduates.
Everton are said to have a made a late enquiry for the former Rayo Vallecano loanee but by this stage he had already agreed a move to the Basques.
It is expected the move will be announced in the coming days.
