Milan are set to continue their summer rebuilding with the signing of Fiorentina’s Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, say reports in Spain.
According to Marca, the 32-year-old’s move to the San Siro is ‘imminent’ where he will be reunited with former Villarreal teammate Mateo Musacchio, who joined the Rossoneri earlier this month.
Capped once by Spain, Valero has been a regular in the Viola’s midfield for five seasons after coming up through Real Madrid’s youth system before playing for Real Mallorca and Villarreal, among others.
The report states a fee of €10m would be involved and the midfielder will sign a two-year deal for Vincenzo Montella’s side.
