Barcelona are ‘paying attention’ to Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa who could leave the club this summer, according to reports in Spain.
Diario Sport state the Blaugrana believe the Brazilian would offer depth to the squad and decrease their dependence on the front three of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Luis Suarez.
The 26-year-old is said to be on the market for €30m after failing to work up a constructive working relationship with Coach Carlo Ancelotti, who replaced Pep Guardiola at the helm last summer.
Sport believe that with both Costa and Neymar, the Catalans ‘would have the two best wide-men on the planet’.
Costa joined Bayern from Shakhtar Donestk in 2015 and despite a stellar first season, has struggled more under Ancelottin his second year at the club.
