Brazil manager Tite believes Barcelona should sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho this summer to join up with compatriot Neymar.
The international boss believes the 24-year-old could fit seamlessly into a 4-3-3 formation at Barca as a ‘thinker’ in the team, being interchangeable with the likes of Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta
“Yes. Absolutely yes,” Tite is quoted by Diario Sport when asked if he could see the player at the Camp Nou.
“I don't want to be pretentious and give an opinion on Barcelona, but who wouldn't want a player like Coutinho?
“That magic, that capacity to invent and create something, that change of rhythm, the way he builds play – it’s crucial for any side.
"Just to be clear, I'm talking hypothetically; there's Sergio [Busquets] and two articulators, [Ivan] Rakitic and [Andres] Iniesta, who are the thinkers of the team. Coutinho could play that role. He is the ideal player for Barça.”
