Monaco: Mbappe has no price

Monaco Vice-President Vadim Vasilyev has warned Real Madrid that Kylian Mbappe “has no price” as “we’re ready to refuse €100m.”

Zinedine Zidane has made no secret of his admiration for Mbappe, whose 26 goals and 14 assists fired Monaco to their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years and the Champions League semi-finals, but Vasilyev made it clear his club would not sell the attacker on their own accord.

“Kylian Mbappe has no price. If he wants to leave then we’ll discuss it,” he told Maxifoot.

“Are we ready to refuse an offer of €100m? Of course, no doubt!

“We want to keep him for at least one more season so he can continue his formidable progression and help us dream bigger.

“Our wish is to extend Mbappe’s contract, that’s a certainty.

“We’ve said to all the players that we won’t talk about the future before the end of the season.

“I insist no player has talked about his future, not one. We’ve all been focused, otherwise we wouldn’t have won this title.”
