Winning La Liga in his hometown of Malaga would be ‘special’ for Isco but he insists they need ‘another great performance’ to clinch it.
Wednesday’s 4-1 win at Celta Vigo put Zinedine Zidane’s side to within touching distance of the league crown as they now only need a point or more at La Rosaleda to guarantee the title on Sunday.
"We've just won another cup final and now we need another great performance at La Rosaleda, which will not be easy,” Isco told Madrid’s official website.
"We are highly motivated and although we only need a point, we will go there to win, as we always do.
"Going back to my hometown is always special for me, and on this occasion we could win the league there, which has never happened before.”
A loss for Madrid means they would need to rely on Eibar to avoid defeat at the Camp Nou in the simultaneous match.
